Hello and welcome to my website. Thanks for visiting. I just wanted to say a sincere thank you for your interest in my business and would like to introduce myself, and my service.

My name is Jennifer, I am 39 and a married mum of two kids. My son is 8 and my daughter is 3. I live in Liverpool which I love, and I never plan to move.

I work from home and love spending time with my family and friends. When I am not doing that, I like walking, cooking and anything crafty. Colouring in and playing play-doh with my 3 year old is admittedly up there with my top hobbies. TV is a favourite but I don’t get much time to watch what I want these days. When I do, it’s crime, mystical, period drama or the likes of Sex and the City/Emily in Paris. Reading is a massive aim for me to get back into. I love books, but starting my business took over so I haven’t read a book for ages now.

I enjoy nothing more than helping people with the interiors of their rooms, as I truly believe this can have a huge impact on your mood and the way you feel about your home. I didn’t realise I wanted to become an interior designer until later on, way after doing my design degree in uni, and after several years of working in retail merchandising.

When I decided interiors was the area of design for me, it seemed like I should have realised it years ago. I’ve always adored decorating rooms since I was little, so it all just made sense. I completed a diploma in interior design in my late 20’s, and did some adhoc work for other established interior designers, but it wasn’t until I had my son, that I found the guts to attempt building a business myself.

One thing I did know, is that I wanted to provide a service for everyday people. A way they could access expert interior design advice, without it costing the earth, so they could feel proud of their homes too. This is how the idea for The Mini Interior Design Company came about.

A contactless, affordable online service which provides professional assistance and inspiration when it comes to home decor. It’s easy and convenient, but still very personal, and friendly too. All of the expensive stages of the conventional process are cut out, to leave a much simpler experience.

Even though I am based in Liverpool, my service is via WhatsApp, so you can use it wherever you live in the UK as well. I have had customers from the North of England, the South, Scotland, Wales and actually a couple from France thinking about it.

I am so pleased with how people are responding to my business and I hope you all enjoy the content I am sharing on my page. I post snippets of home inspo on here, as well my most recent projects, news and blogs.
