"I asked Jen to completely redesign our hallway and landing. I was really nervous with some of the more 'bold' ideas but she was so good at getting each item to be something I truly loved. I trusted the process and oh my gosh it paid off. Our house was made up of white bland rooms and grey furniture and now I've learned about my style and have grown to realise that I love colours and experimenting with all sorts of more funky designs. Jen has unlocked my personality that I didn't even know I had. Jen has gone on to redesign ours kids bedrooms, playroom, bathrooms and our lounge; with the rest of the house still to go! "I cannot recommend the Mini Interior Design Company highly enough! Jen was recommended to us when we were starting a loft conversion, and I couldn’t have asked for someone better to guide us through all the decisions (if you’ve done building work before, you’ll appreciate the volume—it’s non-stop!). She helped us bounce ideas and held our hand through the whole process. All communication was via WhatsApp, which made it simple and easy—and no question was too much trouble. We are over the moon with the result: Jen is very talented and has incredible vision. She saved us so much time, stress and money by creating a beautifully curated and calm master bedroom entirely from scratch. Once the loft room was done, we enlisted her help again to transform a cluttered, tired guest room into a calm and fun space for our little boy. Jen suggested we completely change the layout and add colour in such a creative way. Now we have big orange and yellow triangles on the wall—something I would never have thought of myself (I hadn’t even dared open a pot of paint!). But we trusted Jen’s vision and it looks fabulous: like a children’s room from a magazine, yet perfectly tailored to my son’s tastes."

"The problem we had was how to convert a room that has so far hosted one child, to a room that can host two children. It has been very easy to communicate and bounce ideas with Jennifer. When we were not convinced or wanted something different, we always got the alternative we were looking for. When we did not know what to do, good ideas were provided. We are yet to start purchasing all the goods, but are really looking forward to it! If you don't have time and need to look at the design of the room at random times of the day, this service is perfect and at a reasonable price! You can trust Jennifer to look for exactly what you need."

"It initially felt a little surreal, sending my empty and very unloved room to a total stranger. I needn't have worried as Jen immediately made me feel comfortable and "at home". After a short insight by way of Jen asking for room measurements, my likes and dislikes, she got to work and sent me lots of choices, colour schemes, ideas that would fit in with my family. A quiet room, one to accommodate my pets, literally everything that I hadn't thought of, Jen did. Occasionally an idea would pop into my head over a weekend, I'd WhatsApp the idea over and even before the weekend was over I had a response. She's friendly, approachable and diplomatic. I'm thrilled with my (not quite finished) room and will send pics over asap. Thank you Jen for all your help and giving me faith to go back to a room I really didn't like."

With Jen’s help we turned an awkward space, into my favourite part of the house.

"We contacted Jen for help with our awkward "middle room" space, that is part hallway, part living space, part corridor to the kitchen. We wanted it make it feel like a cosy room in its own right, whilst still being the main thoroughfare from front door to kitchen. Jen was brilliant - responsive, really encouraged us to go out of our comfort zone, and rethink how we organised the space for the best possible use. She sent so many ideas, colour options, and suggestions, we had great fun working with her to plan it all out, and she kept in touch over the (many!) months we had trades in to do all the work, making extra suggestions and really going beyond our expectations. With Jen's help we turned an awkward space that I'd really begun to dislike into my favourite part of the house. We are really looking forward to working with Jen again in the future to style and decorate other key rooms in our home."
